
Dr. Ana I. Sanjuán is a senior researcher working at Centre of Agrofood Research and Technology of Aragón (CITA) in Zaragoza, Spain. She has a MSc on agricultural economics and food marketing from the CIHEAM-IAMZ, and a PhD in Econonomics from the University of Zaragoza. She has been a visiting researcher at the University of Newcastle in the UK and a grant holder at the Joint Reearch Centre of the EU Commission, for a period of two years each stay. She has more than 20 years of experience in applying econometrics to agrifood markets and has published over 40 papers in peer-review scientific publications. Her lines of research include bilateral trade and the impact of non-tariff measures, evaluation of the EU quality policies from consumers’ perspective and price transmission across geographical markets and along the supply chain. More recently, she has contributed to studies focused on the bioeconomy and the identification of drivers of societal Sustainable Development Goals.
