The research projects on genetic breeding in different plant species carried out in the CITA have led to the obtaining of a series of new varieties that have implied or may imply an absolute innovation for productive sectors. As an example, we can quote the almond variety GUARA that means 50% of the new plantations of this species in Spain.
The list of the new plant varieties that have been bred and selected in the CITA by the different research lines include:
